When hiring a home inspector it is important to make sure that the inspector is well trained and insured. Since you are relying on the inspector to help you decide on one of the biggest investments you will make, it is important that the person is someone you can trust. With that in mind, here are some tips to make sure you are hiring the right home inspector for your Admirals Cove home.

Make sure your inspector has proper training- It is imperative that the home inspector is properly trained in all aspects of home inspection. Without the proper training the inspector might miss something crucial that needs to be fixed for your safety.

Get a guarantee- A qualified inspector should be willing and able to provide a written guarantee to back up all of his or her inspection findings.

Avoid a conflict of interest- Make sure that your home inspector is a professional, full time one and not one that is also a contractor on the side. The inspector who is a contractor on the side might be more likely to say there are more issues than there really are in an attempt to make more money.
