The National Association of Realtors stated that there were more contracts for homes in November 2011 than any other month from the previous 2 ½ years. Waterfront Properties and Club Communities business operations showed a big increase in transactions at the end of last year. With the growth of new contracts showing no sign of slowing. The National Association of Realtors released an index of pending home sales that grew 1.7 perfect in November 2011 to 106.4. Lawrence Yun a chief economist says that’s a level we haven’t seen since April 2010, where the tax credit for purchasing a home terminated. Yun also stated that this increase is the third in a row which signals a constantly improving real estate market as potential buyers feel safer investing in real estate. According to the index between the months of November 2011 and November 2012 the overall homes in pending sales rose almost 10 percent. There is a lot of optimistic analysis throughout the industry but not just because home sales are increasing, but because home values and new construction are improving as well.
