Prepare a checklist- As you begin your house hunting, prepare a checklist. Your checklist should be split into exterior and interior characteristics. Take a camera- Taking a camera and taking pictures of some of these interior and exterior features will help when you sit down to choose a house after seeing all of the options.

Bring someone with you- Bringing a spouse, friend, or family member will give you a second opinion. They might notice a shortcoming or an issue with the house that you might have missed.

Remain in close contact with your agent- This is very important, especially if you are in a strong seller’s market. You want a good agent who will alert you of new listings and who will show you the houses as soon as they are listed.
